1st call closed: 110 applications received

The first call for project applications of the Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007 - 2013 was opened on 25 February and closed on the 30 May 2008. The secretariat received 110 project applications. Altogether total budget of received project applications is 374 MEUR. Most of the Lead partners come from Germany (40), Finland (23) and Sweden (21). 37 projects applied in Priority 1, 14 in Priority 2, 16 in Priority 3 and 43 in Priority 4.

The Monitoring Committee will decide on approval of project applications and on the opening of the 2nd call for project applications on 23-24 October 2008 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
